Jill came home and caught me barking at the dog again
Went to bed in a fog and woke up half past ten
JACK JACK JACK
where the fuck’s your head at?
Everything gets queasy when the heart beats too easy
And I don’t wanna die but I feel like I might if you call me again
And it’s only polite when I say “I’m alright”
But I’m feeling like I might get left behind at latchkey again
And I don’t wanna die but I feel like I might
And I don’t wanna die but I feel like I might when you call me a man
And it’s only polite when I say “it’s alright”
But I’m feeling like I might get left behind at latchkey again

I feel like this is what I always wanted bands like Paramore to be- but this is way better. It's so intimate and open and poetic, I feel like I'm reading someone's journal. The production and the music really solidify this post-pop-punk kind of grit- without ever making it sound whiney or angsty. It's grit your teeth as your heart breaks kind of good. Clara Rose
This is an outstanding album. It hooks you in right from the start. Rush Hour gets your foot tapping, and your head nodding extravagantly. As each perfectly crafted song passes, you start waiting for the quality to dip. It never does. You kind of expect it must, but then the closing track kicks in, and it is actually the best song on the album. Truly outstanding. davekillcountysmith
The Los Angeles power duo explore a world of "guitars, grunge, and gas station burritos" on their debut album, a riff-fueled road trip. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 11, 2021
Bright and dazzling guitar pop radiates out from this irresistible LP from Mint Green, with choruses as big as summer sky. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 5, 2022
